Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use www.sensedusk.com and the tools on it, including the skin scan, shade matching and virtual try-on (together, "DUSK"). By using DUSK you agree to them.

What DUSK is — and is not

DUSK helps you find cosmetic shades by measuring colour. Results are estimates that depend on your camera, lighting and the product data available to us, and product colours can vary between batches and on skin. DUSK is not medical or dermatological advice, and you should patch-test any new product and follow its manufacturer's instructions.

Using DUSK

  • Use DUSK only for lawful, personal purposes, or for business purposes agreed with us in writing.
  • Only scan your own face, or a face you have permission to scan.
  • Do not attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or bypass any security or consent step.

Brands and products

Product and brand names shown in DUSK belong to their respective owners and are used to identify their products. Showing a product is not an endorsement by, or of, that brand unless we say so. Prices, availability and purchases are handled by the retailer you buy from.

Business customers

Use of the DUSK SDK, API, pilots and enterprise services is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies.

Our content

The DUSK name, site design, text, images and software are ours or our licensors' and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including photos used for skin scans.

No warranty and limitation of liability

DUSK is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free or that any shade will suit you, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for purchases you make based on a result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as DUSK develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use DUSK after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
